I checked out the site for CBCN, who produced the film that's mentioned in the advertisement-disguised-as-news-event you've seeded. Guess what? A Catholic "news" site put this article to promote a movie put together by an organization of objective scientists who just happen to have ethical concerns regarding reproduction that mirror the Vatican's

Just so you know, it was in Catholic school that I learned the difference between acting out of common-sense ethics and imposing one's dogma on others. CBCN, like many other groups, seems to be hiding a religious agenda behind a professional-looking website and it's members' PhDs. When someone's practicing such deception, I see them as being in no position to discuss ethics and expect me to take them seriously.

When they come out and change their name to "Fellowship of Concerned Catholic Scientists" or some such that would be more honest, then I'll see them as having the qualifications to be taken seriously on ethical issues.
