I find it shocking that people like you and those "family" groups talk about the principles that respect human dignity yet have no respect for the dignity of humans. Whether in the U.S. or, in your case, Canada, there's never a shortage of hatred to sell. I mean, you do sell it don't you? It's support our cause, please give, we accept Pay-Pal. Nice living, eh?

I agree Joanna. I always feel ill when I see these articles on the front page and clap my hands when they disappear. I'm Canadian and these types of articles are an embarrassment. Thankfully, they are not the majority and gay marriage has been law here for quite some time. That's not going to change so they might as well get used to it.

I'll never understand why so many people give a crap about other peoples sex lives.

ok, so who is the canadian?

Oh just checked the profile.

Damn, Guess he is still pissed off that canada let gays marry. If there is anything good that happened from that, pissing people like him off is the best thing. :))

Not possible to comment respectfully. Nothing respectable about the bigotry spewed by this seeder.

It's not worth the time to reply. He drops these anti-gay @!$%# bombs periodically and I can't recall him ever coming back to defend or even moderate them.

I think this is Rick Santorum and he is too busy campaigning for Pope, er, I mean President of the United States to respond.

I could care less who is gay and who is not. I don't plan to have sex with any of them anyway. I do care who is spreading diseases around whether it is legal or not.

All sex is out. STD's don't discriminate.

When sexual behavior (or any sort of normal behaviors) are oppressed and/or repressed, social abnormalities such as promiscuous unprotected sex become common place, as unconscious desires for "freedom of choice" create an exaggerated need for self-expression. A need that would be easily filled if gay marriages were legal, because homosexuality would then take its rightful place in society as normative, rather than creating the maddening desire for acceptance --from someone, anyone, everyone-- that outright hatred creates in people.

Just look at the number of straight ministers, sports figures, businessmen, etc., who openly, and sometimes violently, advocate their hate for gays, yet go on the down-low with other men while practicing unsafe sex. Then they bring their unclean penies home to the wife, for more unsafe sex, in order to prove to themselves how masculine they really are.

When people are preaching about how others should live their lives -- in the name of God -- while spreading hate and dissension along the way, they are expressing their true ignorance of what Jesus really came here to show us. LOVE and COMPASSION.

Thank God science has revealed the truth about the origins of homosexuality, or we would end up going back to the days when members of the LGBT community were lobotomized and otherwise abused by the mental health community. When we start to run our government based on solid and proven scientific theories, instead of the hysteria filled rantings of lunatic religious fanatics, we might actually gain the strength as a country to unite against the evils of organized religion and its misogynistic, outdated mythical traditions, and bring the country back to the democratic state intended by the forefathers.

I had a cousin like that. He was very loud about his anti-homosexuality and he'd literally get red in the face if he thought someone was suggesting he was gay. Turns out, he was indeed a homosexual and had a successful relationship with another man for more than ten years.

I think those who are the most caught up in it are those who aren't comfortable with their own sexuality and it's their way of fighting their true feelings.

This user, LAWS-JOHN, imo, is an advertiser, a self-promoter. He has seeded over 1,300 articles and, if his history is correct, has left approx 3 comments, the last in 2009. He fails to moderate his column. Reported for violating the CoH and UA.
